Mitt clinches it – Keating and Sutter go at it – Paul supporters protest state GOP

MITT MONITOR: Mitt Romney clinched the GOP nomination with a win in the Texas primary yesterday, setting himself up as the undisputed heavyweight champeen of the Republican party. Romney also spent some time hanging out with everyone’s second favorite birther, Donald Trump. (Everyone’s favorite is Orly Taitz, obvs.)

CONGRESS: They’re off and running in the new 9th district. Freshman Congressman Bill Keating and Bristol DA Sam Sutter, who has secured a place on the primary ballot, went at each other a bit in the Cape Cod Times over debates and notetaking.

APPAULING: Ron Paul supporters, who you may remember won most of the GOP delegate spots for the RNC a little while ago, aren’t happy about the state party’s attempt to review their ballots.
