Redistricting committee in W. Mass. – Health care: innovation, Mitt & Newt – Patrick & Romney ‘collision course’

The Redistricting committee hauled themselves out to Springfield (on a Saturday!) to hear from lawmakers and locals (AP) about how to carve up the western portion of the state after census data showed a population drop in the the region. has audio of the testimony, including remarks from Congressman Richard Neal and Sen. Stephen Brewer. Meanwhile, the Enterprise reports on the South Shore’s redistricting efforts.

A year after the passage of federal health care reform, the Cape Cod Times takes a look at how the state is taking the lead on health innovation.
