Fehrnstrom Etch A Sketch gaffe ruins Mitt’s day – Worcester airport empty – Geno to be out as Jud. chair – Lab oy trial

WORCESTER: The Boston Herald sent reporters all the way to Worcester to find out that the MassPort-owned regional airport there doesn’t really do anything. Taken over by the state in 2010, the $14,000 a day site has no commercial airlines currently operating from it since Direct Air suspended flights earlier this month. (T&G)

GENO-MORE: After a bit of confusion and Twitter chaos, we found out yesterday that House Judiciary Chairman Eugene O’Flaherty will not seek to be reappointed to that post next session, and it’s all Kevin Cullen’s fault. (Globe)

L-TOWN: Let’s check in on the trial of former Lawrence school superintendent Wilfredo Laboy, shall we? In days episode: denying kickbacks, declaring innocence of assorted crimes. (Eagle Trib.)
