T fare plan ups prices 23% – Warren tries out Etch A Sketch line on stump – Hoodie-wearing lawmakers stand for Trayvon

ONE MORE NICKEL: Well, six more nickels, actually. The T brass laid out the plan to increase subway, train and bus fares by 23 percent yesterday. Commuters in the hinterlands are grumbling, but not as mad as they could have been.

THE SKITTLES RAN OUT QUICK: There were a few hoodied lawmakers around the State House yesterday, staging a silent protest in memory of Trayvon Martin, the unarmed Florida boy killed earlier this year by a neighborhood watch member. The Phoenix looks into the proposed local version of the law Martin’s killer is protected by.
