Cahill arraigned – MBTA board to vote on fares – Romney and Obama finally get to the good part

YOUNG AND OLD UNITED IN ENTITLEMENT: As the MBTA board prepares to vote today on a plan to raise fares an average of 23 percent and cut some services, protesters are planning to be out in force to try to persuade MassDOT officials to retain services and subsidies for youth and seniors. All you middle aged working folk can go huff fumes in the tunnels all this debt paid for, I guess. Rah rah, chant chant, rabble rabble.

ALL HALEY’S FAULT: Treasurer Tim is in court RIGHT NOW being all kinds of arraigned on public corruption charges. The Herald stops for a moment to look at other campaign season marketing from elected officers, like every flier, website and commercial with Bill Galvin’s face on it.

LET’S GET IT ON: Mitt Romney won another slew of Republican primaries last night, making him the inevitabliest of inevitable candidates, which is basically what everyone said all along. Now we can get on to the main event: Mr. President, Governor, touch gloves and have the dirtiest, most expensive negative campaign in U.S. history.
