Transpo comm. hears T fix – Medical pot ballot Q – Coakley still comeback-ing – 4 line up for Brockton seat

DIRGE SIRENS: Have you heard the exclusive newses?! Martha Coakley might not be the political ghost we all thought she was two years ago. Oh, you have heard this? Several times a week for about a month and a half? Oh, so sorry to bother you. To paraphrase, the most remarkable aspect of this story is that it was printed.

OH, WAIT: Now I get it. It was just an excuse to get clicks on this awesome old “Martha Coakley’s hair through the years” retrospective.

CREEDONSEAT.COM: Brockton is set to choose a new Representative this fall. Prerequisites for automatic victory: a) Be named Creedon. b) Be named Marciano/generally conduct yourself as a CHAMPION. c) I can’t think of anything else and I grew up less than a quarter mile away, so that tells you something. Well, I guess no one fits the bill, so you’re stuck with these three dudes and a lady from Easton.

DR. GONZO: Medical marijuana is up for a hearing once again tomorrow before the Public Health committee, this time in the form of the proposed ballot question to allow doctors to prescribe the stuff. On the plus side, I imagine a doctor’s hand written “BC Beasters” or “Funky Skunky” Rx might be marginally easier to read than Omeprazole or Hydrochlorothiazide.

FROM THE PLAYBOOK: I’ve been really bad at pretending to be Mike Allen lately, and I apologize. I’ll make it up to you. Not with exclusive news, exhaustive up-all-night coverage and sweet e-books, but with birthday shoutouts. Last week was a huge week with Daniel Webster (4/2), John Keenan (4/4), Fred Barrows (4/5) and Jonathan Hecht (4/7) all celebrating birthdays. This week isn’t as jam packed, but it doesn’t have to be because Marty Walsh’s birthday is tomorrow and he gets the whole week to himself. (Did I miss anyone? And by that I mean: did I miss anyone who matters? Give me a shout: @deehan)
