Condi VP rumors – Obama camp slams Romney over Bain exit – Scott Brown may or may not have spoken to Hillary Clinton

FUNERAL DRUDGE: Word on the street is Mitt Romney might pick Condoleezza Rice as his running mate. Battenfeld offers up a few other names, too. Condi would be an odd choice, since it would mean breaking Romney Campaign Rule #1: Don’t ever use the B-word or even mention that guy that ran the country before the guy that’s currently running the country.

YOUR PUNISHMENT MUST BE MORE SEVERE: Any veep talk would be a breathe of fresh air for Romney, because this Bain stuff just keeps kicking.

HERE’S MY NUMBER: It’s not quite as fantastical as meeting with kings and queens, but Scott Brown is now insisting he’s telephone BFFs with Hillary Clinton. His staff had to come clean and admit they’ve only talked twice, but everyone knows HillRod mostly texts.

MORE IMPORTANT: It’s Friday, so stop what you’re doing and just watch
